Who we are

Pro 1 Construction is the operating brand of Pro Construction Group, a construction company working across British Columbia’s Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island. We build on both sides of the business — custom homes, renovations, and detached garden suites for homeowners, and tenant improvements and ground-up builds for business owners, landlords, and tenants. From our office in Delta, BC, we plan each project around the property, the municipality, and how the finished space needs to work day to day.

Credentials you can verify

We are a BC Housing Licensed Residential Builder. For applicable new-home construction projects, that means 2-5-10 home warranty coverage through Pacific Home Warranty (#49658) — covering labour and materials, building envelope, and structural components, subject to the warranty provider, policy terms, limits, and exclusions. It also means our residential work follows the licensing and consumer-protection framework BC Housing sets for licensed builders.

What we build

On the residential side, we take on new custom homes, full-home renovations, kitchens and bathrooms, and detached garden suites — managing drawings, permits, trade coordination, and finishing through to handover. On the commercial side, we deliver tenant improvements and specialized fit-outs for dental, medical, and healthcare clinics, med spas, restaurants, retail, offices, pharmacies, daycares, bank branches, and mall units. Recent commercial work includes bank branch build-outs for SBI Canada Bank and ICICI Bank, a med spa in North Vancouver, and a restaurant on Granville Street.

How we work

Construction goes smoothest when the planning is done up front. We start by understanding the scope, the site, and the constraints — lease terms and landlord requirements on commercial projects, municipal permitting and property conditions on residential ones — then organize the drawings, trades, and sequence around them. The result is a build that is easier to plan, easier to follow, and finished to a standard you’d be glad to show off.
